Army Chief Sigdel Confers Rank Insignia on Three Promoted Officers

Chief of Army Staff Maharathi Ashok Raj Sigdel has conferred rank insignia on three promoted Nepal Army officers. According to a press statement issued by the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Nepal Army, the rank insignia was conferred during a program held at the Army Headquarters on Friday. The promotions were made as per the decision of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, dated Jestha 21, 2083.

Assistant Rathi Bhuwanpurna Satyal was promoted to the rank of Uparathi, Assistant Rathi Roshan Shrestha Rana was promoted to the rank of Maharathi Uparathi, and Mahasenani Umesh Karki was promoted to the rank of Maharathi Assistant Rathi. The ceremony was attended by senior Nepal Army officers, rathi-level officials and family members of the promoted officers. The Nepal Army has expressed confidence that the promotions will further strengthen the organization’s leadership capacity, professional efficiency and ability to carry out responsibilities.
