Barshaman Pun Says RSP and His Party Share Many Similarities

CPN leader Barshaman Pun has said his party and Rastriya Swatantra Party share many similarities. Speaking while giving a congratulatory message at RSP’s first general convention, Pun said both forces had broken continuity and chosen their own political paths. He said that although the backgrounds and working styles of the two forces are different, they are close on the agendas of revolution, change and social transformation.

Pun said there are many issues on which RSP and his party are similar. He stated that both parties have similarities on the agenda of good governance and claimed that CPN and RSP have worked more closely on good governance than with other parties. Pun’s remarks came during RSP’s first general convention, where leaders from different political parties were invited to extend their greetings.
