Critics Film Awards 2081 and 2082 to Be Presented on Ashar 6
The Critics Film Awards organized by Film Critics Society Nepal will be presented on Ashar 6, with winners from both 2081 and 2082 honored on the same day.
The date for the Critics Film Awards organized by Film Critics Society Nepal has been finalized. The society has announced that the awards will be distributed on Ashar 6, Saturday. Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the society said the Critics Film Awards for 2081 and 2082 will be presented jointly on the same day.
The society said winners were selected after detailed study, technical analysis and evaluation of films released in the years 2081 and 2082. For 2081, Min Bahadur Bham won Best Director for Shambhala, Dayahang Rai won Best Actor for Gaun Aayeko Bato, and Thinley Lhamo won Best Actress for Shambhala. Sarishma Khatri and Siddhartha Pudasaini won Best Screenplay/Writing for Sano Sansar, while other awards went to Alok Shukla, J. Him Lee, Alex Gurvitz and Kishor Acharya. Special mentions were given to Supla Sapkota for acting in Boksi Ko Ghar and Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi for art direction. For 2082, Unko Sweater won Best Film, while Nabin Chauhan won Best Director for the same film. Haribansha Acharya won Best Actor for Bhuthan and Aana Sharma won Best Actress for Ramitako Pirati. Nabin Chauhan and Suraj Katuwal won Best Screenplay for Unko Sweater, while Sushan Prajapati won Best Cinematography for Bhuthan, Anjay Khadka won Best Editing for Bhuthan and Kovid Bajra won Best Background Score for Unko Sweater.
