Government Extends Constitution Amendment Discussion Taskforce Deadline

The government has decided to extend the deadline of the Constitution Amendment Discussion Paper Preparation Taskforce, 2082. The decision was made by today’s Cabinet meeting. With the decision, the taskforce’s deadline has been extended until the end of Ashar 2083.

The Cabinet also decided to direct the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration to implement the report of the High-Level Commission on Investigation and Protection of Government and Public Land, known as the Rawal Commission. The meeting further decided to nominate Ramesh Kumar Dhital as the chairperson of the Accounting Standards Board.
