Harkaraj Rai Seeks Budget From Minister Mahabir Pun for Dharan Projects
Lawmaker and Shram Sanskriti Party Chair Harkaraj Rai has requested Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Mahabir Pun to allocate budget for various projects in Dharan.
Shram Sanskriti Party Chair and House of Representatives member Harkaraj Rai has sought budget support from Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Mahabir Pun for various projects in Dharan. Rai wrote a letter to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation on Friday, requesting funds for the construction of a provincial-level NAST National Academy of Science and Technology building in Fokland, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-17. He said the building is under construction but lacks sufficient budget, and requested at least Rs 100 million or enough funding from the contingency budget to complete the project.
Rai has also requested budget allocation for the Dharan Invention and Innovation Center located inside the Purwanchal Engineering Campus. He asked the ministry to provide funds to purchase necessary equipment for the center within the current fiscal year. In the same letter, Rai also requested budget to establish a model wind turbine near the Dharan-20 ward office and generate electricity from it. The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation is currently led by Minister Mahabir Pun.
