Kathmandu Metropolitan City has fined Holding Food and Beverage Pvt. Ltd. Rs 100,000 for digging and damaging a footpath in Jamal without permission.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has taken action against a company for digging a footpath without permission. The metropolis fined Holding Food and Beverage Pvt. Ltd. after it was found to have damaged the footpath in the Jamal area. According to the Metropolitan Police, the company had dug the footpath in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1 without approval.
As part of the action, the company was made to pay a fine of Rs 100,000. The Metropolitan Police said action was taken because the company caused damage by digging the footpath without permission. The metropolis has stated that such unauthorized damage to public infrastructure will face penalties.
