Man Arrested With Rs 4 Million Undisclosed Cash From New Road

Police have arrested a man from the New Road area of Kathmandu with a large amount of cash whose source could not be disclosed. The arrested person has been identified as Swarupraj Dawadi. Acting on special information, a police team deployed to the area took him under control with Rs 4 million in cash.

According to police, Dawadi was arrested after he failed to provide a legal source for the recovered money. During the preliminary investigation, police suspect that the cash may have been used in hundi transactions. Further investigation into the arrested person is currently underway.
