Mohan Kumar Dangi Elected IPPAN Chair
The 24th annual general meeting and eighth convention of IPPAN has elected a new executive committee under the leadership of Mohan Kumar Dangi.
The Independent Power Producers’ Association Nepal has elected a new executive committee through its 24th annual general meeting and eighth convention. The convention elected Mohan Kumar Dangi as the chairperson of IPPAN. Uttam Blon Lama has been elected senior vice-chairperson of the organization. Uttarkumar Shrestha, Narendra Ballav Pant, Bikram Bista, Susan Karmacharya and Him Prasad Pathak have been elected as vice-chairpersons.
Teknath Acharya, also known as TN Acharya, has been elected general secretary, while Kabita Pokhrel has been elected deputy general secretary. Abhigya Malla, Isha Shrestha, Kubermani Nepal, Bijay Mohan Bhattarai and Suman Kumari Joshi have been elected secretaries. Shankar Basyal has been selected as treasurer. Anup Acharya, Kadam KC, Jagadish Shivakoti, Jagat Bahadur Pokharel, Jyoti Gaire, Narayan Kandel, Pratima Gyawali, Milan Khadka, Sangita Dhamala and Barnan Lamichhane have been elected members of the executive committee. According to IPPAN’s statute, the remaining members of the 27-member executive committee will be selected through nomination.
