NEPSE Falls Again as Turnover Stays Below Rs 4 Billion
Nepal Stock Exchange fell by 8.14 points on Thursday, closing at 2,728.03, with turnover limited to Rs 3.90 billion.
Nepal Stock Exchange declined again in Thursday’s trading. The market fell by 8.14 points and closed at 2,728.03. As the market declined, the share prices of only 82 companies increased, while 178 companies saw their share prices fall. The share prices of 13 companies remained unchanged.
Total turnover remained below Rs 4 billion as the market fell. Shares worth Rs 3.90 billion were traded during the day. A total of 9,231,216 shares were bought and sold in 58,391 transactions. Sopan Pharmaceuticals, Apollo Hydro, Bottlers Nepal Balaju, Upper Lohore Khola Hydro and Peoples Hydropower were among the top gainers. Among sectoral indices, only the Hotel and Tourism group and Manufacturing and Processing group increased, while the remaining 11 groups declined.
