CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has said organizational anarchy inside the party has become serious. Addressing the Lumbini Province-level gathering held in Chandrauta of Kapilvastu on Thursday through virtual means, Oli said some serious reform decisions would be made from the party’s Central Committee. The gathering was organized to collect suggestions on election review and party reorganization.
Oli said the country, the party and the movement are currently in a difficult situation, and urged leaders and cadres to work with the confidence that UML would win again. He stressed that unity within the party is necessary and said misunderstandings, divisions and talks of disunity are not in the interest of the movement. Oli also said the party should raise its voice against the government’s actions against squatters, trade unions, media and student organizations, as well as Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s statement that Nepal had also encroached on Indian land. He urged party members to give suggestions in a way that strengthens and unites the party.
