Passenger Bus Crashes in Kavre, Heavy Casualties Feared

A passenger bus heading from Banepa in Kavrepalanchok toward Roshi Rural Municipality has crashed, raising fears of heavy casualties. According to police, the bus met with an accident in the Buchchakot area of Namobuddha Municipality-2 along the BP Highway. The crashed bus was reportedly traveling toward Sungure. Police said the exact cause of the accident has not yet been established.

Police said some bodies have been recovered from the accident site, while rescue efforts for the injured are still ongoing. Security personnel, local residents and rescue teams have been mobilized at the scene.
