Rupandehi Police Find 61 Missing Persons in Jestha
Rupandehi Police found 61 out of 108 people reported missing in Jestha and helped them reconnect with their families.
Rupandehi Police have given high priority to the search for people reported missing from different parts of the district. According to the District Police Office, Rupandehi, 108 people were reported missing in the month of Jestha. Out of them, police found 61 people and helped them reconnect with their families.
Among those reported missing in Jestha were 30 children, 48 women and 30 men. Rupandehi Police spokesperson Krishna Kumar Chand said 18 children, 29 women and 14 men were found during the search. Police also found nine more people who had been on the missing list since Poush of the previous fiscal year and handed them over to their families. They included two girls, five women and two men. Chand said additional police personnel have been mobilized to make the search and rescue work more effective, and the search for missing people is continuing.
