Shankar Pokharel Says Reports of Agreement and Disagreement Linked to Him Are Misleading

CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that reports of agreement or disagreement within the party linked to him are misleading. Speaking at a program held at the party office in Chyasal on Monday, Pokharel said the path currently being followed by the party is based on a formal institutional decision. He said the taskforce is still in discussion and has not yet reached any conclusion.

Pokharel said there is no alternative to all sides standing together and moving forward according to the country’s current needs. He indicated that internal discussions should not be interpreted as personal agreement or disagreement linked to any individual. His remarks come amid discussions inside the party, where a taskforce is still working without reaching a final conclusion.
