Shekhar Koirala’s Secretariat Says No Proposal Sent by Establishment Side
Shekhar Koirala’s secretariat has denied reports that the Nepali Congress establishment side sent a seven-point proposal for agreement.
Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala’s secretariat has said the establishment side has not sent any proposal for agreement, contrary to discussions outside. Secretariat chief Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya said Shekhar Koirala and his secretariat are still unaware of any seven-point proposal reportedly sent by the Congress establishment side for consensus.
The secretariat urged everyone not to be misled by what it called fabricated, imaginary and confusing information. It said that after the new working committee was formed through the Congress special general convention, Pradip Paudel visited Koirala at his Bishalnagar secretariat on Chaitra 22, 2082, and Gagan Thapa visited him on Baisakh 22, 2083. According to the secretariat, there has been no dialogue or contact with anyone after that.
