Trump not only warned Iran of a harsh strike but also claimed that the United States could take control of Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure. Writing on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that at some point in the not-too-distant future, the US would take control of Kharg Island and other oil infrastructure areas. He also claimed that the US would establish full control over Iran’s oil and gas market, similar to what he said was done in Venezuela.
