UML to Hold Lumbini Province Meeting Focused on Reorganization and Election Review
CPN-UML is set to hold a Lumbini Province-level meeting in Kapilvastu focusing on party reorganization, election review and future strategy.
CPN-UML is set to begin a Lumbini Province-level meeting with party reorganization and election review as its main focus. After completing its program in Koshi Province, the party’s central team has arrived in Lumbini for the meeting. According to UML Lumbini Province Chair Radhakrishna Kandel, the meeting will be held in Chanauta of Kapilvastu.
UML vice-chairpersons Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Prithvi Subba Gurung and Gokarna Bista, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, and Secretary and Lumbini Province in-charge Chhabilal Bishwakarma are expected to attend the meeting. Office bearers of all 12 district committees of Lumbini Province, province committee officials and central committee members representing the province will also participate. Kandel said the main agenda of the meeting will be organizational reorganization, review of the recent election and formulation of future strategy. The meeting is also expected to discuss ways to strengthen the organization and make party workers more active.
