Wagle Claims Organized Rumor Campaign Amid Parliament Obstruction

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said organized rumors were spread against him while the House of Representatives was obstructed instead of holding budget discussions. Speaking at a discussion on the budget in the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Wagle said he had come to the parliamentary committee to respond to the allegations made against him.

Wagle said Parliament should have been discussing the budget, but obstruction in the House was used to spread rumors about him in an organized manner. The Finance Committee meeting was still underway as he was presenting his views on the issue.
